Time for major winterwork

Think we're relaxing when we close the doors at the U Capu Biancu? How shall we put it … Not really! Not at all! Quite the opposite – our cogs are turning faster than ever. As for our arms, legs and hands, there's no more rest for them either. And for good reason – it's time for our major winter work!

We could give you an exhaustive list of all the work we have planned for this winter, but we're sure it would only bore you. You might even set off running at the size of the tome alone! And, who knows, perhaps – taking pity on us – you'd even consider not coming (back) next season … And so, instead, we're going to tell you a beautiful story.

The story of a house that becomes more and more beautiful everyyear

All the more beautiful because we are redeveloping its green spaces and adding a wooden terrace around the elegant swimming pool. Because we're finishing up our work on the Felicita suite. An original suite in the shape of a boat, perched on the cliff, guaranteeing a truly "Capu-esque" journey! We'll also be saying goodbye to the past by transforming the last of our small rooms into two magnificent suites with an equally magnificent view of the no less magnificent Corsican maquis! Yes, there's a lot of "magnificent" there, but how else would you describe it? And let's take a closer look at these suites for a minute …

Ghjulia and Chjara, suites with all the aromas of themaquis

Spanning 37 and 40 m², they feature a terrace with solarium, garden and private outdoor shower. The materials? Always the most noble, with Bonifacio stone, wood and lime walls. Natural tones come together with vivid colours, as the land of Corsica itself does so well.

And what about comfort?

Well, how about eco-friendly air-conditioning via sea-water cooling. And a pétanque court! Right there, under the bar. The perfect time to practise your perfect shot or "chiquette" during an "apérosé". Not forgetting the beach hut, now accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Always improving, improvingeverywhere

The whole estate is subject to our perfectionist thunderbolts: a first villa is adorned with ornamental stones; here too, a beautiful, ready-to-use pétanque court awaits pros and lovers of this beautiful game. And at U Capu Verde, we work on the design of our plantations, sowing in greenhouses and, put simply, preparing something to quench your thirst and delight the palate.
And the last new addition, to be discovered this summer – a real beauty: U Mulinu. An exceptional villa built around an old mill, up on the cliffs of Bonifacio, not far from the marine cemetery. But have patience! We'll let you know more in another post.
