For us, eating means something. It is a choice. The choice of the good, the fresh and the essential. The choice to participate in the economy of Corsica and the protection of its environment. Homemade jams, syrups, cakes, biscuits and breads made from organic flour. Meat, fish, fruits and vegetables reveal the generosity of the island and its producers. Wines reveal the strength of the local soil and its sunshine. Yes, our cooking is committed. Just like we are.

Gadio El Hadji: hishallmark

Gadio El Hadji is not just a leader; he is a genie. A genie born, as if by magic, of an Africa where cooking is played out with colour and perfumes. A creative, hard-working and committed genie. Who invents bold alliances, as a true man of the world, with resolutely Corso-African influences. Subtly mixing the raw flavours of Corsica with those of Senegal, his country of origin: a little zest of nepita from the garden here, a touch of ginger there. Gadio El Hadji? We love him for his hearty, multicultural cuisine, for his friendliness and his eternal good mood. And for his inimitable swing, of course ...

In the morning, make the most of ourlight

Our breakfasts at the U Capu Biancu hotel are infused with the delicious scent of homemade cakes, crêpes and tarts. With the generous aroma of coffees (some roasted on the island), thirst-quenching teas and flowery herbal infusions. They have the crunch of our homemade breads, the pep of our fresh fruit juices and seasonal fruits, the velvety feel of jams concocted after the winter harvest, the authenticity of PDO honeys and spreads from Corsica and the freshness of our eggs, straight from the chicken coop and cooked on demand. They have the spice of our cold cuts and island cheeses, and the smoothness of our homemade yoghurts. Most of all, they are real. Real and nustral: ours.

A cosy atmosphere on theterrace

When the evening comes, the restaurant of the U Capu Biancu hotel welcomes its guests in a cosy atmosphere centred around sharing and good food. Here, you can watch the sunset from the terrace or the panoramic lounge, while enjoying cooking that's just bursting with identity. Cooking invented to the rhythm of the seasons, the markets and the fisheries. That adapts to our vegetable garden, to our chickens and to the harvest of the day. A spontaneous cooking developed in seasonal menus: three different starters, mains and desserts each day, thereby preserving the freshness of our Corsican flavours and keeping foodies on their toes.
