We could talk to you about eating local and present our claims of sustainable catering. Yes, we could. And you, surely, would reply: "So what?"Yes, so what ... Because this is not a new movement; it dates back as far as the Middle Ages, when producers and customers met in street markets to exchange in person. But whether it is new or not, at the U Capu Biancu hotel we do not necessarily follow the current. Not even when it comes to food. No, if we don't speak to you about eating local, it is because our commitment has always gone even further. Much further.

Food with meaning

For us, eating means something. As well as nourishing yourself, indulging and educating or re-educating your palate, it is a choice. The choice of the good, the fresh and the essential. The choice to participate in a region's economy. In the protection of its environment. This is Corsica. An island with so many flavours and aromas to share! With so much to tell you about its history, its geography and its character. All this, we reveal to you by offering you the chance to taste the fruits of the labour of local men and women.

At the U Capu Biancu hotel, we savour the history of Corsica

We write the history of Corsica with our breakfast buffet: jams, honeys, cakes, biscuits, homemade syrups and dairy products express the sweetness of the island. At lunch or dinner, meat, fish, fruits and vegetables paint a portrait of a land as generous as the Mediterranean that surrounds it. The wines that we serve in the restaurant, in the hut or in the cellar, depict the strength of local soil and its sunshine. And as for all those fatt'in Corsica* treats that you discover in your minibar, they reflect the people of Corsica's inventiveness and taste for good food.  
So, yes, eating is good. Very good in fact. But eating well, that's just fabulous! *Made in Corsica
