An ideal summer residence

The hotel celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2022. Born of a passionate love affair between Sylvie and Jean-Louis Limongi, the hotel's owners. This exceptional location in the hinterland of Bonifacio, in the south of Corsica. From an empty building, isolated at the end of a dirt track and with no access to water or electricity, they have created a haven of peace for travelers. The hotel blends in perfectly with the surrounding unspoilt nature, offering guests a complete change of scenery.

U Capu Biancu's thirty-nine rooms and suites are each unique in their own way, like a journey through this island of a thousand facets. In addition, the hotel offers five villas du maquis, nestled in a park of holm oaks, just a few kilometers from Capu Biancu.

A commitment to theenvironment

For many years, the Limongi family has been deeply committed to preserving Corsica's environment. Every decision they make is motivated by their love for this land. In particular, they have opted for renewable, natural thermal energy from water to heat and cool their hotel facilities, as part of an ambitious geo-earth project. In 2021, they created Capu Verde, a permaculture farm and market garden that supplies delicious fruit and vegetables to the hotel's restaurants. The Limongi family is also committed to preserving this exceptional environment and has naturally joined the Corsican eco-hotel program "Rispettu", which encourages sustainable and responsible tourism.

Island decor

In harmony with the natural landscapes that surround it, Hotel U Capu Biancu is entirely decorated with works by Corsican artists. The result is an authentic experience for visitors. Every spring, the owners launch a call to all local artists and craftsmen. To exhibit their creations in the hotel as well as in the Capu Galerie. The gallery is located in the former cinema of the Bonifacio citadel. The works of art are numerous. They include paintings, ceramics and other objects. Customers can buy and take home a bit of Corsican beauty in their daily lives. U Capu Biancu represents Corsica in all its splendor.

 

Authentic gourmet

 

U Capu Biancu offers guests an immersive culinary experience that perfectly reflects southern Corsica. Products are fresh and ultra-local, with a large proportion of vegetables grown on site. Cheeses and charcuterie are carefully selected from local producers. Dishes are prepared by talented chef Gadio El Hadji. A chef who brilliantly blends island flavors with African spices to create exceptional dishes. Guests can even watch local fishermen unload freshly caught fish into the Mediterranean.
